Millie Tizzard is a Melbourne based actress and singer with training from 16th Street Studios in Melbourne, QUT under Brad McMurray, as well as screen acting training with multi-award winning director, Luke Mayze and the heavily accredited educator and actor, Chris Sommers. She has also completed several intensive acting courses with widely experiences, professional film, television, theatre and voice coach, Rebekah O’Sullivan.
In 2015 she was cast as the lead role in upcoming Purryburry Productions, (Eternalism, Gifted, Stream) sci-fi thriller feature film, CHASED, and will shortly be filming for the highly anticipated pilot of WITCHES, for US and Australian networks. Shooting for the web series, Jack Thomas, also began in 2015 with Millie Tizzard in the title role.
Additionally, Millie has amassed a large following through her music with nearly 2,000,000 views on YouTube and over 10,000 followers on Facebook. She has over ten years of music performance experience and has been performing live gigs locally, interstate and internationally as a solo singer/ songwriter.
She has appeared at some of Australia’s biggest festivals including the Woodford Folk Festival, Tamworth Music Festival, Urban Country Music Festival and the Noosa Jazz Festival. She has performed several national tours alongside some of Australia’s biggest names including Busby Marou, Timberwolf, D At Sea, Hands Like Houses, Tonight Alive, Jonny Craig (USA) and Fiona Bevan (UK). Millie has now been working consistently in film since 2013 while honing her craft with ongoing training.
